MATH 632: Algebra (Spring 2005)

Instructor: Shankar Sen

Meeting Time & Room

This is the second of the two core algabra courses. From the course catalog: MATH 632 covers Galois theory, representation theory of finite groups, introduction to homological algebra. Familiarity with the material of a standard undergraduate course in abstract algebra will be assumed.

Note that most subjects will not be covered in depth, as the idea is to present a broad view with a glimpse of many topics.
