Cornell Topology Festival Banquet
Friday, May 4, 2001
7:15 pm
The Topology Festival banquet, which occurs on the first evening of
the Festival, is intended both as a welcome and as an opportunity for
you to meet fellow participants. All participants are warmly
encouraged to attend. The cost this year is $35.00, which will be
collected at the time of registration.
The banquet will be held at The Big Red Barn, on campus,
adjacent to Malott Hall. The banquet preliminaries will begin at
6:15 pm, and the sit-down dinner will begin at 7:15 pm.
The entree choices are:
- Boneless breast of chicken sauteed with mushrooms and
marsala wine.
- Poached filet of salmon with a lemon beurre blanc
- Penne pasta tossed with fresh vegetables (vegan)
Our caterers this year have placed more stringent demands on us than
has been customary, so we can no longer be flexible with respect to
last minute requests to attend the banquet.
Please let us know your decision about the banquet no later than April
25. You may use the response form or send
the information by email to festival@math.cornell.edu.
Be sure to include the number of people in your party and
your choice(s) of entree.
