On the ergodic properties of multi-valued Hamiltonian flows

We consider a class of area-preserving flows on surfaces given by multi-valued Hamiltonians, and we will discuss their ergodic properties. Such flows can be expressed as suspension flows over interval exchange transformations, and their properties involve Diophantine-like conditions on interval exchanges.
