KenKen Puzzles

KenKen puzzles are a number puzzle with rules similar to SuDoKu. They also go by names such as CalcuDoKu, KenDoKu and MathDoKu. In this series of lectures you will learn the rules and some strategies for playing KenKen, some fun variants on the game of KenKen and some information for making up your own KenKen games, along with a few mathematical questions that arise from making your own KenKen games.

All that is required to begin this study is working knowledge of the four operations of arithmetic, and a little enthusiasm. Everything else you need will be included in this set of web pages. (There is one exception: the last lecture will require knowledge of permutations and a little bit of combinatorics, but the rest works out just fine knowing only basic four function arithmetic.)
