Honors Introduction to Analysis I. The course has now finished and

Prerequisites and a short description
- Prerequisite: high level of performance in MATH 221-222,
223-224, or 192 and 294 and familiarity with proofs
- Description: Introduction to the rigorous theory underlying
calculus, covering the real number system and functions of one variable.
Based entirely on proofs. The student is expected to know how to read and,
to some extent, construct proofs before taking this course. Topics typically
include construction of the real number system, properties of the real number
system, continuous functions, differential and integral calculus of functions
of one variable, sequences and series of functions.

- Prelim 1 will be held in class on Thursday 11 March.
The prelim will count towards a small percentage of your final grade. It will be closed-book. Questions will be a mixture of definitions and proving theorems.
