MATH 7510: Berstein Seminar in Topology: Schubert Calculus (Fall 2009)

This semester we will study various topics on Schubert calculus. During the semester, students will present papers on topics of their choice. The background materials will also be covered during the semester on demand. The list of possible topics will include:

• Grassmannians, flag varieties, and quiver varieties,
• (equivariant) cohomology / K-theory and quantum cohomology.
