Karel Svoboda ’88, wins million euro Brain Prize

Former math and physics major, Karel Svoboda ’88, is one of four scientists awarded the Brain Prize for the invention and development of two-photon microscopy. Svoboda shares the million euro prize with Winfried Denk, Ph.D. ’89, David Tank, M.S. ’80, Ph.D. ’83, and Arthur Konnerth.
