The main webpage for Math 1110 is

exam information, etc. This page is for the additional assignments that count toward the section grade for Sections 6 & 7 only.
In addition to homework, your section grade will consists of scores from section assignments, online reading quizzes, and occasional brief unannounced in-class quizzes . Section assignments are short exercises that are meant to help both you and me assess how well you understand the material from that day. Some section assignments will be done as group activities in class, and you will be asked to do others at home between lectures.
Extra practice problems will also be posted on this page after most lectures. Please select the links below to navigate to the section assignments and practice problems.

4/17 A new reading survey has been posted. Please read Sections 5.2 & 5.3 and fill out the survey by
2pm on Monday, 4/21.

2pm on Monday, 4/14.
3/28 A new reading survey has been posted. Please read Sections 4.4 & 4.5 and fill out the survey by
2pm on Monday, 4/7.
3/6 We are going to try out a reading survey this week. Click on the Reading Surveys link above to take the survey, due Monday, 3/10 at noon. This is meant to be a chance for you to communicate to me which topics from the upcoming week's sections you think should be highlighted in class.
2/27 Section assignment #6, due next Tueday, has been posted. You may need to refresh the section assignments page.

2/2: As I mentioned in class, section assignment #4 has been posted and is due at the start of class on Tuesday 2/11. If you did not get to finish section assignment #3 in class today since things were a bit rushed, turn this in along with #4 on Tuesday.
1/23: The first section assignment has been posted and is due on Tuesday, 1/28.
