Cornell calculus resources:

• Homework Study Groups (Wednesday 6:00-10:00pm in 406 Malott, and Thursday 6:00-10:00pm in Balch Hall 3330, starting Sept. 4): Optional sessions where students can work on homework in groups. Course assistants will be on hand to help and answer any calculus-related questions.
• MATH 1011 — Academic Support for MATH 1110 (Wednesday 4:30-6:00pm and Friday 2:55-4:25pm in 253 Malott, starting Aug. 28): Reviews material presented in MATH 1110 lectures, provides problem-solving techniques and tips as well as prelim review. Open to all MATH 1110 students. Not a substitute for attending MATH 1110 lectures.
• Math Support Center (256 Malott): Free tutoring in mathematics every day except Saturday.
• First Steps in Mathematics: Answers to the most frequently asked questions concerning freshman-sophomore mathematics courses, including information regarding Advanced Placement (AP) and other forms of transfer credit.

Outside calculus resources:

• Khan Academy: An education website featuring video micro-lectures and tutorials on a wide range of subjects, including both pre-calculus and calculus.
• Calculus I (from Coursera): A MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) taught by Bart Snapp at The Ohio State Univ. Features video micro-lectures, quizzes and a discussion board. Registration is free. (Caution: may differ in content, terminology, and difficulty from our course.)
• mooculus (from The Ohio State Univ.): Associated to the MOOC mentioned above, and includes an accompanying free calculus textbook. (The same caution given above applies.)

• Cornell Cinema: The university's student-run, on-campus movie theatre, showing films which range from Hollywood classics to foreign rarities, modern blockbusters to challenging documentaries.
• Cornell Concert Series: An annual concert series which covers classical, jazz, world music and others.
• Johnson Museum of Art: The I. M. Pei-designed on-campus art museum, with both contemporary exhibitions, and a strong permanent collection.
