General description: The aim of this course is to provide a rigorous treatment to measure theory and Lebesgue integration. Topics includes: measure theory, integration, Lp spaces.

Homework and Examinations:

• Homework assignments are due in class on Thursday, covering the previous two weeks' material. Only a SUBSET of the assigned problems will be chosen and graded. However, I strongly encourage you to solve all the assignment. It is ok to work on the problem sets in cooperation with others, but you must write up the solutions by yourself.
• In addition to the biweekly homework assignments, there will be two take-home exams:
  The mid-term exam will be assigned in class on 10/14 and will be due in class on 10/21.
  

  NEW: The final exam will be assigned in class on 11/23 and will be due on 12/3
