Math 332 Homework Grading

Homework Grading

Weekly homework will be marked and graded. Mistakes will be corrected; however, the overall grade will be more subjective than a mere tally of points.

In particular, I hope that each paper will tell you a couple of points on which you've shown mastery and a couple of points on which you could improve.

I'd like to see mostly A and B performances.

If you work hard and get C's (or lower), please do come by office hours sooner rather than later!

Dictionary:

A: you're cooking!
shows understanding of key concepts. solutions beyond duplicating textbook examples.

B: progress toward key concepts. solutions at least in the style of textbook examples.

C: whatever, cranked out a writeup. at least read the back of the book.

D: you can do better than this.

F: turned in a badly written paper for Quechua 136
