A New Class of Examples of Group-valued Moment Map
The group-valued implosion was introduced by J.Hurtubise, L.Jeffrey
and R.Sjamaar (2006). It bears a resemblance to a symplectic
reduction, but instead of taking quotient by the entire group it cuts
the symmetries down to a maximal torus. I will describe how using
an implosion construction one can give a quasi-Hamiltonian
structure on quaternionic projective space HP^n.
