Quasi-invariants and Dunkl Operators for Complex Reflection Groups

In this talk, I will introduce the notion of a quasi-invariant for an arbitrary finite reflection group and discuss some applications in geometry and representation theory. In particular, I will explain the relation between quasi-invariants and the complex Cherednik algebras and sketch the proof of two conjectures of Opdam related to representation theory of these algebras. [The talk is based on joint work with O.Chalykh (arXiv: 0912.4518)]
