A few years ago, Mukhin, Tarasov and Varchenko proved a remarkable conjecture of B. & M. Shapiro about the reality of inverse Wronskian problems. This has result a number of consequences, including a well-behaved correspondence between points on the Grassmannian and young tableaux. My goal for the talk will be to explain some of the properties of this correspondence. In particular, I will discuss its restriction to the orthogonal Grassmannian OG(n,2n+1), which is also well-behaved.
