Beyond Dimension 3

We can ask the same question in higher dimensions. For example, one can take 0 nothings as the "outside of a point," (it will make sense in a moment), 2 points as the "outside" of a line segment, 4 lines as the "outside" of a square (is it starting to make sense?), 6 squares as the outside of a cube (what is the pattern... ?). This begs the question, can one construct an object in 4-dimensional space that is made from 8 cubes, glued along their faces, which are glued along their edges, which are glued along their corners?

In fact, one can do this, and obtain a 4-dimensional analog of a cube, called a hypercube. Here is a difficult question: can you guess the number of corners, edges and faces of this object?
