Textbook: Thomas' Calculus (Alternate Edition = 9th Ed.) We will cover Chapters Four
through Eight (skipping certain sections), at a rate of approximately one section per day.

Homework: Homework will be posted on the class webpage, and will be collected in
the Recitation Section each Friday.

Examinations: There are three prelims and a final examination. Calculators and books are not allowed at the exams. However, students may bring a single 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper written or typed on both sides containing any formulas, notes, diagrams, lists, poems, etc. the student wishes to have access to during the examination.
                        Prelim dates: 2/22, 3/29, 4/26.

Grading: Prelims are 100, the final 200, and homework-recitation 100; for a total of 600 points.

Makeup Exams: No makeup exams are anticipated. Exam conflicts should not occur because it is each student's responsibility to resolve these prior to enrolling in the course. Students with special needs can be accommodated by contacting your instructor.
