Counting lattices in Aut group of buildings

abstract

We investigate the asymptotics of the number of "overlattices" of a cocompact lattice in the automorphism group of a locally finite polyhedral complex. We use covering theory of complexes of groups to prove a very general upper bound and a lower bound for some lattices in certain right-angled buildings.
