Tenure-Track or Tenured Positions

The Department of Mathematics at Cornell University invites applications for three tenure-track assistant professor positions, or higher rank, beginning July 1, 2013 (pending administrative approval). Applications in all areas of mathematics will be considered with priority given to the areas of probability, algebra (in particular, number theory), analysis (in particular, partial differential equations), and topology. Successful candidates are expected to pursue independent research at Cornell and teach three courses per year. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. The department actively encourages applications from women and minority candidates.
