MATH 611
Real Analysis
(Fall 2003)

Instructor: Leonard Gross

Meeting Time & Room

The content of Mathematics 611 in the Fall of 2003 will be approximately Rudin's Real and Complex Analysis, Chapters 1-9. Some deviations will be made from the text:

  1. Some of the Chapter on Banach spaces will be replaced by a little bit of probability theory.
  2. Fourier transforms will be done in the context of generalized functions.
  3. Absolute continuity over R^n will be done only for n=1.
