Welcome to the Finite Element Method on the
Product of Sierpinski Gaskets homepage. The creator of this
website is Brian Bockelman, of the State University of West Georgia, and
is based on work done at Cornell University The work accomplished here was started as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates program at Cornell University, funded by the National Science Foundation. It was done under the guidance of Dr. Bob Strichartz from June 15 to August 15, 2003. One this website, you will find two main focuses: first, how to use the Finite Element Method written, and secondly the theory and results gained from the numerical computations. This website will be under (ideally) constant construction, so bear with us if information is sketchy or incomplete for the next couple of weeks!
