I am a PhD student in the department of mathematics at Cornell University. My advisor is Allen Knutson. I received my BSc Honours in 2011 and my MSc. in 2012, both from the University of Toronto.
My research has mainly consisted of topics from algebraic geometry with a focus on algebraic combinatorics and birational geometry. I am interested in problems that can be reduced to combinatorial questions, usually involving Schubert varieties or toric varieties in some capacity. I have also considered resolution of singularities problems in various settings. See my research section for more details.
