MATH 712: Complex Dynamics (Fall 2004)

Instructor: John Hubbard

Meeting Time & Room

I will try to cover the basic material on dynamics in one and several variables.

One dimensional topics will include fixed points, linearization, no wandering domains, polynomial-like mappings.

In several dimensions, I will cover topics associated with Henon mappings, and endomorphisms of projective space. Topics will include invariant currents, Fatou-Bieberbach domains, invariant measures and measures of maximal entropy.
