Jay Schweig
Mathematics Ph.D., Cornell University

My research is in the field of algebraic & geometric combinatorics, with a focus on partially ordered sets, matroids, and finite simplicial complexes. I'm currently interested in enumerative questions involving h-vectors and flag h-vectors. My advisor at Cornell was Ed Swartz.

Papers:
Poset convex-ear decompositions and applications to the flag h-vector (my Ph.D. Thesis)
A convex-ear decomposition for rank-selected subposets of supersolvable lattices
Rim-finite, arc-free subsets of the plane (with John Kulesza)
