Abstract: In Perelman’s celebrated paper \emph{the entropy formula for the Ricci flow and its geometric applications} he asserted that for an ancient solution to the Ricci flow with bounded nonnegative curvature operator, bounded entropy is equivalent to $\kappa$-noncollpasing on all scales. In this talk we discuss the proof of this assertion.
