In recent work with Jason Manning, an isomorphism between the relative group cohomology of a relatively hyperbolic group pair and the Cech cohomology of the Bowditch boundary was established. The main tool being used here is cohomology with compact supports. I will summarize the ideas of this theorem and explain how these cohomology groups behave under Dehn fillings.
