In this talk, we will complete our basic survey of Thompson's group $F$ by introducing the action of $F$ on the unit interval and the associated tree diagrams. We will then move on from $F$ to discuss Thompson's groups $T$ and $V$, which were the first known examples of infinite, finitely presented simple groups.
