We give a description of a somewhat-unusual construction of algebraic K-theory of a field. This construction has an associated filtration which is analogous to the Rognes filtration. We will describe the structure of the filtered portions of this filtration as a geometric realization of a partial order equipped with a group action and ask several questions about the implications of this structure.
