Set theorists developed the notion of large cardinals to gauge the strength of mathematical statements. Although there is no reason to believe we can line up large cardinal notions linearly, all known large cardinal notions are linearly comparable. In this talk, I will introduce how large cardinals can affect usual mathematics and how to justify why they are linearly ordered.
