This would be a self-contained talk just assuming first undergraduate algebra course. We will explain how elementary congruences of Fermat and Wilson get entangled with each other and with arithmetic derivatives in the polynomial case and lead to solutions of analogs of some open classical number theoretic problems as well as to some new open problems.

The talk will be accessible to undergraduates, who are most welcome to attend.
