Abstract: Entropy is a natural functional that in some sense measure the complexity of hypersurfaces. In the talk I will first mention some recent results on topological change in mean curvature flow. In particular, I will report on a joint work with J. Bernstein ruling out disconnection for low entropy flows in R4 and an application.
